When is the right time?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I want to talk to you about perfect timing. That’s right, I know you’re guilty of falling in this trap. Tell me, have these words ever left your mouth?

Because, guess what, there is no perfect timing.

I was talking with someone who said, “It doesn’t feel right. I don’t know if I should take this job or do this or start that business thing. It just doesn’t seem to be the right time.”

Guess what. It’s never the right time.

The only way you’re going to figure out if something is worth pursuing is by doing it. So stop striving for perfection and get out there!

[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nJ7zsouacA”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]My business has evolved and changed over the last ten years to no end. I never thought I would be where I am today. I never imagined that I would be running two businesses and creating my first product – the ProtoPreneur Planner. The only reason I’m here is because I walked the walk.

Don’t wait for that, “OMG, yes. This is perfect. This is totally right. This feels right!” moment. How often is that gonna happen?

Here’s the real secret – the magic happens outside of your comfort zone. Stepping out of your comfort zone means feeling weird and not right. Ever wonder why it’s called the big leap? It’s because it can be terrifying. It’s because there is no feeling of it being right. You take a leap of faith, not because it feels right, but because it might be right for you.

When you take that leap outside your comfort zone, the only thing that matters is that you keep moving forward. Collect information, collect numbers, collect feedback. And Adjust.

If something isn’t working, look at it and ask yourself, “Why isn’t this working? Can I adjust? Or do I need to drop it off?”

The opposite of right isn’t failure, it’s wrong. All you need to do is adjust what’s off and continue. It isn’t the end of the world! I am proof that even when things are going all wrong, it doesn’t mean it’s all over. It means you just have to try harder to keep moving. That’s all.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]That’s what it’s like building an empire. Unless an empire is in your birthright, it won’t just be handed to you. It’s going to feel wrong and hard sometimes, but that doesn’t mean you should stop altogether. That means you need to fight a little harder for what you want.

So screw the right time. Screw it and determine that the right time is whenever you decide it is. It’s not a feeling, it’s not even real. The right time is whenever you decide to push that notion away and do it anyway.

Yes, the life of an entrepreneur is chaotic, but it’s beautiful and it’s exactly what we decide to make it. Stop yourself from suffering goal paralysis and get into gear. Change might not happen overnight, it might not happen exactly when you want it to, but it will come when you do everything in your power to move forward and make it happen.

I invite you to walk the walk and join other protopreneurs that are already building their empire. Come join us in our Facebook group as we help each other, build each other up, and get stuff done![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”37866″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
