So in this channel we have the answer agent turned on. You don’t even need to do anything much other than just turn it on. Now how can you customize it? Because it comes automatically with choosing where can this answer agent pull information from? And that’s where the magic happens. So you can literally just turn it on and it will automatically just grab all the public information as well as that specific space that the channel is connected to. You can Also add more resources. Yes, you’re always going to need the ChatGPT resource.

You can add the ClickUp Help Center. So all of the resources that ClickUp has built for you to understand how ClickUp works and what it can do and how to do things is available to you. Yes, you need an AI subscription for that within ClickUp. But before we dive in, drop a hands up emoji in the comments. If you are currently going through this, are you your company’s Google? Maybe you can’t even answer your own question sometimes been there, done that. And not only that, you can add specific documents like your standard operating procedure, like any kind of information and really tell it to use it in here. One of the things that you always want to consider and that builds that basic knowledge base is you do want to mark your standard operating procedures in ClickUp as a wiki. So what does that mean? That means when you go into documents, you can build a new document that is a wiki.

Generally you can start with doing it a wiki. You can mark docs as a wiki in their settings. It is always available to you. Keep your sops updated. Updated information means updated knowledge for your agent. You also can connect other tools and let the agent work with them. So just like your integrated search, AI can work with it. So right here in the settings, you can connect an app and for example, you can connect it to Google Drive and have the answer agent go look over there.

If you have your standard operating procedures over in Google Drive, connect Google Drive and tell the agent that it can use it. So for example, in Ask Yvi, every SOP in ClickUp Docs is marked as a wiki. So when I ask how do I post a blog work, ClickUp AI pulls the answer straight from that wiki from that standard document. There is no more digging, no more guessing, no more me explaining this work. And with that, ClickUp AI has multiple other use cases that you can use this for. For example, onboarding. New team members or clients can ask questions and get up to speed fast without waiting for your response. You can also use the Answer Agent for project management. Let the AI answer where are we with this project? And give it simply the resources it needs to answer those questions.
