Think about it: when you’ve got tons of content published, how do you keep track of it all? How do you know which topics you’ve already covered and which content gaps need to be filled? Most importantly, how do you manage content marketing so that it’s no longer a confusing and overwhelming task?

The answer is simple – store it all in a content marketing hub.

Video Transcription:

[00:00:00] Yvonne Heimann: So let me guess. You’ve been at this whole content creation and marketing thing for a while, and you feel like, I’ve talked about this and didn’t I do a YouTube video about this? When was that? Where was that? How was that? And then, you focus on browse traffic rather than SEO so searching over on YouTube doesn’t bring the video up that you know you recorded or you are trying to find this one post that was so amazing but you can’t find it.

[00:00:30] Yvonne Heimann: Let me help you and show you how you can build a centralized content hub right in ClickUp to make your content creation and marketing a breeze.

[00:00:44] Yvonne Heimann: I know, I know. I get passionate about this and maybe once in a while, also a little bit dramatic. However, if you are like me and you are regularly creating content because you are using content for your marketing, you are gonna feel [00:01:00] like me, don’t you?

[00:01:01] Yvonne Heimann: Especially when you are focusing on YouTube for set content. Didn’t I talk about this? What’s that video? I already recorded the process of how to do this thing where, how, what? Huh? And suddenly you are standing there and it’s like, but I have a new playlist about content marketing and content creation, and I know I talked about easy digital management, which totally feeds into this.

[00:01:29] Yvonne Heimann: Now, where is this damn video. Now, because you’ve been smart and you’ve been following my YouTube channel for a while and starting to build up and really get into the habit of creating your content and managing your content within ClickUp, let me tell you, you already have your content up.

Centralized Content marketing Hub overview

You don’t even need to do much to really have a centralized content hub [00:02:00] right in your ClickUp to make your marketing really easy.

[00:02:04] Yvonne Heimann: So shall we just go over there? I’ll, I’ll show you how we set this all up to make this really easy. Cool. So now what you are seeing on the screen is literally this month’s content, right? We have it all there. You know this workflow. You’ve watched the video. If not, I got it in the playlist for you. We’ll get there.

[00:02:24] Yvonne Heimann: So not no clicking away yet. It is in the playlist. It’s not getting lost on you. Cool. Now that you see all of this, as you can see, we have our regular due date, which is task management. We got our episodes numbers, we got our keywords, we got the YouTube publish date. Yeah, we should have that. We got some stages and statuses as well as other graphics done.

[00:02:47] Yvonne Heimann: Some, some easy visual to know where all of this is. And then, we have the Google Drive link. There will be the YouTube link as well as the blog because as you know, we also share our YouTube [00:03:00] content on our blog with transcription for everybody to read in case they can’t do the audio kind of thing. It’s all there.

[00:03:07] Yvonne Heimann: So we have all the content right in here in ClickUp. It’s already there, so why go somewhere else and try to build a library of all of this? So how do you build a content hub, right in ClickUp? Look at that. Right there. Because we are starting with YouTube videos as our main content where everything comes afterwards for the content marketing.

Youtube Content Hub (if you’re starting with video)

[00:03:34] Yvonne Heimann: Video first, then blog post, potentially audio, if it’s the podcast, micro content, social media post, everything is based off of that YouTube video. So, I need the YouTube video content hub, right? That’s what it is. So pretty much what this content hub is, is a Custom View list.

Custom View list

Now, if you didn’t know, Custom [00:04:00] Views in ClickUp is one of the biggest features and the biggest underrated feature in ClickUp. I don’t know why so many people do not know about Custom Views. It is literally a godsend and the strongest feature in ClickUp. Period. Not even automations can make your life as easy as a Custom View. Just saying. Now, what is this? First of all, we only have complete content in here. Meaning, I don’t need to see the content that we are planning out, that we are working on right now.

Your Content marketing Hub

[00:04:35] Yvonne Heimann: Content hub means everything, this is published and done. Now when you look in here. We are right there, though. Let’s, let’s look at level up because you can build those wherever you want to, right? You’ve seen this calendar. Which is on Space Level, and if you have struggled with the hierarchy, I do have a video on the ClickUp hierarchy for YouTube, but I digress.

[00:04:58] Yvonne Heimann: Content hub, [00:05:00] because you might not just want to use the YouTube content hub. You just saw that in the YouTube video list. That’s where I build it because that’s what the focus is, the YouTube video. Now, in here, it pulls in all of the stuff from everything underneath that space. Yes, you can build Custom Views in any level of that ClickUp hierarchy.

[00:05:20] Yvonne Heimann: It’s there for you, wherever you want it, wherever it makes sense to you. To me, as a full-on content hub, I wanna have it on Space level. Now let’s filter this thing. Status. We only want Closed status. Cool. Now, I personally don’t need all of the content. If I look at YouTube videos and I look at social media posts and all the things, let’s not do that.

[00:05:48] Yvonne Heimann: So let’s say it’s Complete status and then location is my video content. So I [00:06:00] only wanna see that.

[00:06:04] Yvonne Heimann: This is my YouTube video content hub. Now there is more customization that we can do here. So first of all, this is all the published content on YouTube. Look at, look at all of that. Look at that. It is all here. And if you are wondering how this is happening, the, the Google Drive linking to those specific assets, it’s happening automatically. I get the video for you at the end, just say it. But we also have more Custom Fields in here for you to really be able to use this as a Content Hub. When it’s like, oh my God, the client just asked for that. I need that specific video but we also have the blog link here. And as you can see, we’ve been working on really optimizing this process and having all the information in here.

[00:06:45] Yvonne Heimann: But not only that. Going into this, I don’t have to try to figure out, where, where’s the graphic? What’s, how, what did we do with this? Where are things? How? It is all right here. And if [00:07:00] I do not want to work with it out of the graphics right in the task, I can go into Google Drive. That is where my raw videos is.

[00:07:11] Yvonne Heimann: Do you wanna do a fresh edit? Do you wanna create micro content? That is also where the final video is backed up. It’s not just on YouTube. What if YouTube goes down or YouTube decides to cut me off? You never know, right? That is also where all of the graphics are. That’s where the transcription is. That’s where the blog draft is, because who has lost blogs in WordPress? Been there, done that. Way too often.

[00:07:38] Yvonne Heimann: This is where this becomes a huge asset to you. Saving all of your files in Google Drive. It’s all linked right here. You have easy access to the YouTube video link. You have easy access to the blog post link because do you really wanna send people to YouTube or your blog where they can watch the YouTube? And it’s all there.

[00:07:58] Yvonne Heimann: And not only that, [00:08:00] you can easily search using ClickUp. If I talked about SOPs, look at that. Standard Operating Procedures. SOPs. Repurposing and content strategy. I mentioned SOP in there, somewhere. That’s it. Right there. Done. Now I can look like, I’m like, huh? Oh yeah, that’s the video I was thinking about.

[00:08:23] Yvonne Heimann: Not only can you search on titles here, it searches in the description too. Not just like YouTube where it’s like, okay, you change the title and suddenly you can’t find this video anymore. And this is how easy it is to build a centralized content hub in your ClickUp. And if you are ready to really take your content creation and marketing to the next level, plan the stuff, organize the stuff and be proactive about it.

[00:08:51] Yvonne Heimann: Here’s the playlist that also has my video on the simple Digital Asset Management for you right in there on how to automate [00:09:00] that whole Google Drive folder, graphic naming convention, and all that fun stuff. It’s, it’s right there in the playlist. See you in the next video.
